Q. I haven’t seen this line of clothing in stores and I'm concerned about the fit. Can you help?

A. We'd be happy to measure up any item for you. Send us an email with your request and we'll reply with any measurements you'd like.

Q. Are your batik garments similar to those I find in big box stores?

A. Our batik is of a higher quality than the type you find in inexpensive garments. It is hand painted, hand stamped or dyed, not commercially produced in textile mills, and the fabric itself has a higher thread count, making it thicker and stronger. Our seams are strong and professionally finished.

Q. Does hand dyed fabric fade a lot?

A. No, that is not our experience. The fabrics are saturated with dye during production, so excess dye will come out in the first few washes, but this does not affect the color of the garment. It is suggested to use a little salt in the first few washes, and wash in cold water.

Q. How much will your rayon garments wrinkle?

A. Most wrinkles obtained during wearing will fall out when the garment is hung for awhile.

Q. How much shrinkage can I expect after washing?

A. Very minimal shrinkage occurs when washing instructions are followed.
